• Fixed An address in another alphabet under Excluded addresses leaves that page open, and nothing else. Pasted from the browser, an address such as /контакты/ was saved as //, which left your front page open to everybody while the page you meant stayed closed, and a section such as /блог/ as //, which opened every page of the closed site. Addresses are now kept as pasted and match however the browser writes their letters. A line saved before keeps doing what it did: if Excluded addresses holds /, // or //* that you did not mean, delete it and paste the address again.
• Fixed A page left open under Excluded addresses shows that page, and nothing else. While your site was closed, a link to that page asking for another post or a search in its query (?p=12, ?s=), or a form sent to it with one, showed that content to everybody. Those now get your closed page (until 1.10.0, not when the post or search was asked for with nothing after the =, such as ?pagename=&s=, or, with your front page left open, when a word such as ?order=asc was added to it).
• Fixed The launch email goes out as you typed it. A % followed by two characters 0 to 9 or A to F was taken out of the subject and message when you saved them, so an opening code typed as 20%DEAL went out as 20AL, and anything in angle brackets went too. A subject or message saved before keeps what was lost: check it and type the missing part again.
• Improved The Dashboard says when Excluded addresses leaves your front page, or every page, open, with a button to change it.

• New Once your site is open, the Dashboard tells you if WordPress still asks search engines not to index it (Settings → Reading), with Let search engines index it and Keep it hidden, and names a robots.txt file that asks every search engine to stay away. Nothing is shown on staging, development or local copies, or while your coming soon page covers the whole site.
• Fixed Updating while a Send from the Subscribers screen is going out no longer stops it part way when the launch email is switched off. The rest of your list is emailed.
• Fixed A launch email your host stopped part way through a batch no longer counts as going out for good. Ten minutes after the plugin last heard from it, the Dashboard offers it again.
• Fixed Reactivating or updating more than a week after the switch-off time now ends a launch email an earlier launch held for WooCommerce's store, as the scheduled switch-off does.
• Fixed Saving Shop closed for orders on the Page screen, or a passed switch-off time on the Settings screen, emails nobody if the number of people waiting has changed since you opened the screen. The save still goes through and says why nobody was emailed.

• Fixed Changing your site's time zone no longer upsets the scheduled switch-off. After a change of time zone it could run hours early, do nothing and be gone, or run hours late and email your list long after visitors could see your site. Both scheduled jobs now move with the time zone. If an earlier version already lost your switch-off this way, updating runs it: within a week of the switch-off time your list is emailed as it would have been, and after that nobody is emailed and the Dashboard offers Send the launch email, which asks first.
• Fixed Putting your page back up stops a launch email that is still going out. A long list is emailed 25 at a time. Pressing Enable, a save or import that puts the page back up, or switching the launch email off while it was going out left it telling the rest of your list that your site was live. Sending now stops before the next email, and the message says how many were not emailed.
• Fixed A question about emailing your list is answered only for the people it named. Disable, and Send to … not yet emailed and Send to everyone again on the Subscribers screen, now say how many people they will email; if somebody signed up since you opened the screen, they change nothing and ask you to check and press again.
• Changed The scheduled switch-off no longer emails your list when it runs more than a week late. On a site nobody visits, WordPress runs its scheduled tasks late. A switch-off run more than a week after its time now switches the mode off and emails nobody; the Dashboard says how many were not emailed and shows Send the launch email, which asks first. Reactivating the plugin more than a week after a switch-off time does the same.
• Changed Setting your store live in WooCommerce's own settings no longer emails your list without asking. A launch email held for WooCommerce's Site visibility stays held when you set the store live there, and the Dashboard offers Send the launch email, which asks first. The Dashboard's Set Site visibility to Live still asks and sends.
• Fixed A launch email held for WooCommerce's store is no longer offered long after the launch it was held for. A launch with the launch email off, or with nobody waiting, now ends a hold left by an earlier launch (from 1.9.0 also a switch-off found more than a week late on reactivation or update).

• Fixed The Dashboard's buttons only go the way their label says. On a Dashboard left open while the mode was changed in another tab, Disable no longer switches the mode back on and Enable no longer takes your page down. A press that finds the mode already that way changes nothing and says so.
• Fixed A save after the switch-off time no longer cancels the opening. Between the switch-off time and WordPress cron running, a save on any screen threw away the scheduled opening: the mode stayed on and the launch email never went out. A save now keeps it, unless it moves the switch-off time, turns automatic switch-off off or switches the mode on again. A site that already lost an opening this way can send the launch email from the Subscribers screen.
• Fixed Saving a switch-off time that has already passed switches the mode off. The settings, the Dashboard and your site now agree. Save asks first, and the launch email goes out only if you say yes; while WooCommerce hides your store it then waits until you set the store live. A save never emails your list for a time more than a week ago, and an imported settings file with a passed switch-off time switches the mode off too.
• Fixed "Without emailing" now means nobody is emailed. An OK to "Switch off without emailing them?" on the Dashboard, or to "Save without emailing" on the Page screen, emailed the whole list if the launch email had been switched on in another tab since you opened the screen, and a Disable press that was never asked emailed them too. Both now carry the answer you gave: without a yes, nobody is emailed and the message says how many were not.
• Changed Disable asks first while WooCommerce hides your store and the launch email is off. With people waiting, it asks whether to switch off without emailing them, as the Page screen's Save already did, and afterwards says how many were not emailed.
• Fixed Importing a settings file with a switch-on time still to come no longer counts as your launch. Nothing is announced or held for later. A file that takes your page down while WooCommerce hides your store now says the launch email is waiting, instead of only "Settings imported."

• Fixed Your launch email is no longer lost when the shop is closed for orders. Setting your store live from the Dashboard while the shop is closed for orders now sends the launch email that was waiting for WooCommerce's Site visibility, after asking you first. Before, that email was thrown away. (Until 1.8.3, setting it live in WooCommerce's own settings sent it without asking.)
• Changed "Keep taking orders" no longer says you are not taking orders. If you left the notice as it was, it now says "Orders placed now are sent out after" your reopening date, or "later than usual" when no date is set, above the Add to cart button and on the cart and checkout. A notice you wrote yourself stays as you wrote it. If your site uses a page cache, empty it after updating.
• Changed Closing the shop for orders over your coming soon page counts as your launch. Save asks whether to email your subscribers, as Disable does, and emails them only if you say yes (until 1.8.2, not on a Page screen left open while the launch email was switched on in another tab); while WooCommerce hides your store, the email waits until you set it live. If nobody was asked, nobody is emailed then, and the Dashboard suggests Send the launch email.

• New Shop closed for orders. With WooCommerce, pause buying while every page stays open and can still be found in search, and, with a switch-off time set, tell shoppers the date you take orders again. Keep chosen products or categories on sale, let chosen roles still buy, or only show the notice. Nobody on your list is emailed when the shop reopens.

• New Subscribers has a tab for each state. All, Subscribed, Waiting for confirmation and Unsubscribed each have a tab with its count, so addresses waiting to confirm can be listed on their own. A search, the page links and Remove keep the tab, and a search with a plus sign or an ampersand in it comes back whole.
• Fixed While confirmation emails are failing, the sign-up form no longer tells anyone who is on your list. Somebody already on the list is now sent a short "you are already on the list" email and given the same answer as a new address, so both depend on your mail in the same way. The first email that goes out, from this plugin or any other on the site, clears the failure.
• Fixed Default words on the page follow the page's language. The headline, message, sign-up heading, button and thank-you line are no longer saved in the language of whoever first saves the Page screen, so an English site set up by somebody reading WordPress in Spanish shows them in English. Words already saved stay exactly as they are.
• Fixed French counts zero in the singular. French writes "0 message", not "0 messages", and the plugin's French now counts the way WordPress's own French does.

• New New subscribers can be asked to confirm their address. Switch on Ask new subscribers to confirm their address under Page → Email Collection, and each new sign-up is emailed a link and gets your launch email only after following it. The only thing kept about the confirmation is when it happened, addresses nobody confirms are deleted after 30 days, and the Subscribers screen counts who is still waiting. It is off until you switch it on, and people already on your list stay on it.
• Changed On some servers, "Your address is" now shows your own address instead of your proxy's. On a server that writes IPv4 addresses the IPv6 way, behind Cloudflare or a proxy of its own, the address shown under IP addresses that can see the site on the Access screen was the proxy's, such as 127.0.0.1, and a line copied from it let in every visitor who came through that proxy. It now shows your own address, and the copied line no longer lets those visitors in, so they see your coming soon or maintenance page. If the address shown has changed, put it in place of the old line.
• Fixed A visitor is counted once when the server writes their address two ways. Some servers write a visitor's IPv4 address the IPv6 way, as ::ffff:203.0.113.7, and it is now read as 203.0.113.7 however it is written. On such a server behind Cloudflare or a proxy of your own, every visitor was taken for the proxy, so they all shared one limit on sign-ups and on tries at the password page; each visitor now has their own. On such a server, counts already running start again from zero, once.

• New Your own page while WordPress installs updates. While WordPress installs an update it shows every visitor a plain "Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance" message. Switch on Show your page while WordPress installs updates on the Settings screen and they see your design and logo instead, with a headline and message of their own, and search engines are asked to come back a minute later. The panel says when your host or another plugin's maintenance page stands in the way, Preview the update page shows it before any update does, and on a network only a network administrator can switch it on.

• Fixed The Mailchimp and launch email failure notes no longer keep the address of the person who was refused. Both notes on the Subscribers screen quote what Mailchimp or your mail system said, and a refusal of one person can name them. That address is now left out, and Tools → Erase Personal Data takes it out of notes written before this update.
• Fixed The sign-up button keeps keyboard focus while it sends. It used to switch itself off while it held the focus, so focus fell out of the form and keyboard and screen-reader visitors lost their place. It now stays on the button, which looks dimmed and ignores a second press until the answer comes back.
• Fixed With several of our plugins on one site, licensing and updates for all of them run on the newest licence code any of them carries. The order WordPress loads them in no longer decides it, with one exception: while the first of our plugins that WordPress loads, usually the alphabetically first, is on a release from before this one, its older code still serves them all until that plugin is updated. An older plugin of ours can also no longer stop this plugin's admin screens loading.
• Fixed The documentation and knowledge base call the address field under Access → Exclude by its name on screen, Excluded addresses. They used to call it Excluded page addresses.

• Fixed {name} in the launch email's subject now fills in the subscriber's name. A subject written as "{name}, {site} is open again" went to everybody as "there, ...", while the message two lines below greeted each person by name. A test send now shows your own name there as well, so you can see what {name} does before the list goes out.
• Fixed The thirty-day visitor chart, and the totals above it, count thirty calendar days. Opened within an hour of midnight in the month after a clock change, the chart listed one day twice or skipped one, and the totals doubled or lost that day's views and sign-ups.
• Fixed The search box on the Subscribers screen filters the list. Typing a name or an address and pressing Search left the whole list on screen and the box empty, with nothing to say why. The list now narrows to what you typed, your words stay in the box, and they go into the address as well, so a filtered list can be bookmarked or sent to somebody.
• Fixed A failed activation no longer wipes the licence key you had typed. When the licence server could not be reached, or sent back something we could not read, the screen threw away the key and the list of sites using it, and asked you to go and find the key again. It hit hardest where it mattered most: freeing a site on a full licence and pressing Activate. What is stored now stands until the licence server itself says otherwise.
• Fixed A key the licence server does not recognise leaves the key box open. When a key is reissued, or deleted while a site still holds it, the box was greyed out and the only button on offer was "Deactivate this site", on the very screen the notice had just sent you to with "enter it again". You can now paste the right key straight in.
• Fixed "Check again", "Deactivate this site" and "Free" work with the key box empty. None of the three reads what is in the box, but all three answered "Enter your licence key first." and sent nothing to the licence server.
• New A "Check again" button on the licence screen. Renew your licence, or have it put right, and one press picks it up instead of waiting hours for the next automatic check. If the check cannot be made, the screen says why and nothing here is changed.
• Fixed Moving between the plugin's screens no longer leaves the last one working in the background. With a suggestion list open under Apply to or Exclude, pressing the browser's Back button left the page pulling itself to the top every time you scrolled. Screens you had moved away from also kept their search boxes and tick lists listening, which held on to memory for nothing.
• Improved Repeating a search under Apply to or Exclude is answered without going back to the server. On a site with more pages or products than the plugin can hold in the browser, a term you searched a moment ago was asked of the server all over again. It is now answered from what that screen already has. On smaller sites the whole list is in the browser to begin with, so nothing changes there.

• Fixed An unlaunched site's content could still be read through the REST API. Anybody with an account on the site, a customer or a subscriber, could list every published page, post and image at /wp-json/wp/v2/ while the closed page was all they were shown everywhere else. Those addresses are now open only to people who can edit the site, and to anyone holding the preview link, the password, a let-through address or a let-through role.
• Fixed Blocks on the pages you left open stopped working. On a site closed on its front page only, or with pages left open under Exclude, every visitor request to /wp-json/wp/v2/ was refused, so blocks, search boxes and comment counts on those open pages quietly did nothing. Those addresses are now closed only while the closed page covers the whole site.
• Fixed Switching the plugin off for a network stopped other sites' launch emails. A site that had also switched the plugin on for itself went on running it, but lost its scheduled opening, its launch email and any Mailchimp sign-ups still waiting, and only saving that site's settings would have booked them again. The site still opened when you had said, because that goes by the clock, but nobody on the list was told. Sites running it for themselves are left alone now.
• Fixed A page past the end of the Subscribers list said the list was empty. Removing the last address on the final page came back to that page number, found nothing and showed an empty list, while the count above it still said how many people were waiting to hear from you. The last page that exists is shown instead, and it is the page the links agree with.
• Fixed Network activation sets up only the sites of the network you switched it on for. On an installation running more than one network, it also created its tables and wrote its settings on the other network's sites.
• Fixed Deleting the plugin clears away tables left behind by deleted sites. On a network, a site deleted while this plugin was switched on for that site alone left its subscriber list and its daily counts behind in the database, with nothing left to say those tables had ever been ours. Deleting the plugin now finds such leftovers and removes them.
• Fixed "Check again" on the Updates screen looks for a new version straight away. Just after the site had had trouble reaching us, pressing it did nothing for up to a quarter of an hour, for this plugin and for the rest of ours.
• Improved The Subscribers list has a pager built for a long list. It printed one link for every page, so a few thousand addresses meant a wall of numbers under the table with nothing saying which one you were reading. It now shows the first and last pages, the pages either side of the one you are on, Previous and Next, and tells a screen reader which page you are on.
• Improved Fewer database queries on sites that use WPML. A display rule naming a lot of pages under Apply to or Exclude read each of those pages separately, on every post or page a visitor opened. They are read in one go now.

• Fixed Saving the Design screen keeps your design's colours in charge. The colour boxes show the design's colours when you have not chosen your own, and saving the screen without changing them stored those as your own choices. A colour that matches the design is now kept as "follow the design".
• Fixed Switching the plugin off and on again keeps your launch plans. Deactivating used to cancel a scheduled opening, the launch email and any Mailchimp sign-ups still waiting to be sent. They are now paused and picked up again when you reactivate. An opening missed by more than a week while the plugin was off is not announced late; you can still send the launch email from the Subscribers screen.
• Fixed Importing settings from another site no longer shows the wrong pictures. The logo and background image are pictures in that site's media library, so they are now left out of an import from a different site, and the notice says so.

• Improved Fewer database queries on every admin page. Each of our plugins checks its licence on every admin screen, to know whether to show the licence notice, and read its saved licence and its "Remind me later" flag with a query each. With the whole range installed that was thirty separate lookups on every admin page, most of them for rows that do not exist yet. They are now read together in one query (on WordPress 6.4 or later). Measured on a test site with all fifteen plugins: the WordPress Dashboard went from 41 queries of ours to 12. A small value this plugin reads on every admin screen is also now loaded with the rest of the settings, rather than on its own.

• Improved A download is made once, not twice. Pressing Export CSV on Subscribers and Export settings built the file twice: the admin's no-reload navigation fetched it first, found a file rather than a screen it could show, and then asked for it again the ordinary way. On a long list that was twice the wait, and twice the work for the server. Each download is now a single request. Measured in a browser: two requests per click before, one after.

• Improved Browsers no longer offer your sign-in password for the page password or the Mailchimp key. Both boxes are password boxes, and a browser's password manager treats a password box as a place for the site's saved sign-in, so it could fill in your WordPress password, which a save would then have set as the page's password or kept as the Mailchimp key. Both boxes now tell browsers they are for a new value.

• Fixed The Mailchimp API key and the preview link were written into exported settings files. Settings → Import / Export left the page's password out of the file, and put the Mailchimp key in as typed, although that key opens the whole Mailchimp account and every audience in it. The preview link's key went in too, so anyone holding the file could open the closed site, and a site that imported the file shared one preview link with the site it came from. Both are now left out of the file like the password, and a site keeps its own.
• Fixed Importing a settings file removed the page's password. The file holds a blank where the password was, and importing put that blank over the site's own password, even when the file came from the same site. Anyone who had the password could no longer get past the page, and nothing said so. Importing now keeps the password and the Mailchimp key the site already has. Checked by exporting and importing on a test site: before this, the password was gone; now it is kept.
• Fixed A mistyped Mailchimp key deleted the saved one. A key with a stray character was saved as nothing, under a notice that said the settings were saved, and sign-ups quietly stopped reaching Mailchimp. The saved key is now kept, and the notice says that what was typed is not a Mailchimp key.
• Improved The saved Mailchimp key is no longer written into the page. The box used to hold the key, hidden on screen but readable in the page source. It now stays empty, says which data centre the saved key is for, and keeps the key when left empty; Forget the saved key removes it.
• Fixed Password boxes were narrower than the boxes beside them. The page password and the Mailchimp key boxes missed the styling every other box had, so they were drawn smaller and at WordPress's default look. They now match.

• Improved One update check for all of our plugins on a site, instead of one each. Every plugin of ours used to ask our server about updates separately — fifteen requests in a row on a site with the whole range, twice a day and every time you press "Check again". The first plugin asked now asks for all of them at once, and the rest read the answer. Measured on a site with all fifteen: fifteen requests became one, and the whole check took a third of a second. If our server refuses or cannot be reached, every plugin waits the same fifteen minutes before trying again, rather than each trying in turn.

• Fixed A wp-admin that would not load when our licence server could not be reached. Each of our plugins checked for its own updates, and if the server was unreachable each one waited out its own fifteen-second timeout — so a site with several of them could spend minutes on a single admin page, twice a day, for something entirely outside its control. The first one to find the server unreachable now says so for the whole site, and the others stand down until it is worth trying again. Measured on a site with fifteen installed: fifteen waits became one.

• Fixed The questions before emailing your list keep working on sites with a strict security policy. "Send to everyone", "Remove this address" and the Disable button all asked first, in a way that some sites block for safety — which quietly removed the question and let one click through to emailing the whole list. They are now asked in a way no security policy switches off.

• Fixed "Email 1 subscribers now?" now reads "Email 1 subscriber now?", and a chart with a single view no longer says "peak 1 views". Both in Spanish and French too.

• Fixed A setting that is waiting on another one is readable again. A field held back until you switch something else on is dimmed, so it does not look identical to one you simply have not used — but it was dimmed so far that its label and explanation fell below the contrast a person with ordinary eyesight needs. Measured on the rendered screen at 2.55:1 against the 4.5:1 minimum, and now 4.75:1 and 5.02:1. The greying, the sunken background and the blocked cursor carry the rest of the signal.

• Fixed The Subscribers screen no longer reads the whole table to show one page. It sorts newest first, and although the table had two or three indexes, none of them began with the column being sorted on — so the database read every row and sorted the lot to hand back twenty-five. Measured: a list of 200,000 addresses took 175ms to draw its first page and now takes half a millisecond. Nothing changes on a small site; the index is added automatically the first time the plugin loads after updating.

• Fixed A site deleted from a network no longer leaves its tables behind. WordPress asks every plugin for the tables it owns when a site is removed, and this one never answered, so its subscriber list and its counts stayed in the database for ever with nothing left to say which site it had belonged to. On a network that creates and removes sites regularly that is thousands of orphan tables and a database that stops fitting in its backup window. Deleting a site now takes its subscriber list and its counts with it.

• Fixed Exporting a spreadsheet on PHP 8.4 could put a warning inside the file. PHP 8.4 deprecated the way this plugin was asking for a CSV row, and a host with error display switched on prints that notice into whatever is being sent — which for a download is a corrupt spreadsheet. It asks the new way now.

• Improved The help text under each setting can be read at a glance. A settings screen is scanned, not read, and several notes here had grown into paragraphs. They say the same thing in a line or two, in Spanish and French as well as English.

• Fixed The exported settings file contained your holding page's password. Not in the clear — it is stored as a hash, and an administrator can read that from the database anyway. It mattered because that file is made to be moved: emailed to whoever is building the next site, dropped in a shared folder, sometimes committed to a repository. A hash in a file that travels is a credential that travels, and a holding-page password is usually a short one. It is left out now, and the panel says so. Everything else still travels, the switch included — you set the password again on the new site, which is what most people expected it to do anyway.

• Fixed The Import settings button had no icon. It asked for a mark the plugin did not carry, so it drew nothing — next to an Export button that had one, which read as an oversight because it was.

• New The Licence screen now shows which sites are using your key. "You have used all your activations" used to leave you to work out which sites those were, in your account, on another tab. Every site on the licence is listed now — the date it was added, when it last checked in, and a Free button beside it — so you can let go of a site you no longer run and put this one on without leaving the page. "Last seen" is the column that decides it: a copy that stopped checking in months ago is the one to free. The list appears on a refused activation too, directly under the key you just typed, with the same buttons. Local and staging copies are listed as well, marked free, so the count adds up.
• Improved Updates follow the activation, not just the key. Freeing a site now really does free it: that site is still told when a new version exists, but it is not handed the download, and its own Licence screen says plainly that it is no longer on the licence and offers to activate again.
• Fixed Two things on the Licence screen were never translated — the screen's own heading, and the "2 of 3" activation count. Both read in your language now.

• New Move your settings to another site. Settings → Import / Export writes a small .json file with the design, the colours, the wording, the launch email and the access rules in it, and reads one back on your next site — so a plugin set up on staging does not have to be set up again from a screenshot. Settings only: no subscribers, no statistics and no licence key. Rules that name a particular page, post or category travel as numbers that mean something else on another site, so those are left as they were and the message says which; a file re-imported into the site that made it keeps everything. An imported value goes through the same checks as a typed one, so a hand-edited file cannot put anything into your settings that a screen would have refused.

• Improved Plainer words on every screen, after somebody who runs a shop and has never written code read the whole plugin and said what they could not follow.
• Fixed The Mailchimp test handed you a number and stopped. "Mailchimp said 500." now explains what it means and what to try, with the status after it for support. A failed send says what to check rather than only that it failed.
• Fixed A toggle drawn in the "on" position that could not be pressed. The switch-off time has to be set first, and now the screen says so.
• Fixed The Access list said "line" for something that is not a line. Addresses are split on spaces and commas as well, so one typed line could become two refused entries. The notice counts entries and names them.

• Fixed Tabbing onto a "Remove" or "Undo" link showed the wrong ring, or none. Those quiet link-shaped buttons in a table row are WordPress's own kind, and WordPress rings them in its blue with a rule stronger than the one this plugin writes — strong enough that it also cancelled the ring the plugin draws. Somebody working down a screen with the keyboard either saw a colour that belongs to no part of this plugin, or lost sight of where they were altogether. They now wear the same ring as every other control here.

• New Four more designs, eighteen in all. Ledger rules the page with hairlines that run the full width and lines the logo, the headline, the message and the form up on one margin, with the countdown as four cells of one band. Rail puts a band of your accent colour down the edge of the page, full height, with the words set clear of it — a letterhead. Corner gives your picture the whole page and sets the words in the bottom corner, darkening the picture most underneath them. Postcard is a wide card with your picture across the top of it and the words beneath, which is the one place a picture needs nothing washed over it. None of them changes the design you are using.
• Fixed On a page with a background picture, "Have a password?" was drawn over the photograph and on Card measured 1.1:1 — it was there and could not be read. It now sits on a small dark chip on every design that paints a picture behind the words.
• Fixed The Glass panel was lighter than the photograph behind it, so the white words on it were hard to read: the labels under the countdown measured 2.4:1 over a picture and 3.1:1 with no picture at all. Its panel is now frosted dark, which is what browsers without frosting were already being shown.
• Fixed Midnight laid its words straight on the photograph. At the usual overlay the message, the countdown labels and the opening date came out between 3.1 and 4.3:1 over a bright picture. The picture is now darkened where the words are and left alone at the edges.
• Fixed The panels on Gradient and Aurora were white over a coloured page, which made them paler than what they sat on: the countdown labels measured 4.3:1 on Gradient and 3.3:1 on Aurora when a light drifted under them. Both now use a deep panel of their own colour.
• Fixed On Gradient the Keep me posted button was all but invisible — its fill measured 1.8:1 against a page built from the same colour. Every button now takes its edge from a colour worked out to stand out from what is behind it, so a button the same colour as the page still has a shape.
• Fixed The email field's edge was a 16% hairline, 1.5:1 against the page. A box you type in now has an edge you can see on every design — a mid grey, the same weight WordPress draws its own fields in.
• Fixed On Frame the message and the field label were hard to read over a pale photograph. A white sky or a snow field left them at 4.5:1 on the design's own panel at every screen size, so the panel behind the words is now a little deeper. A Panel background you chose yourself is untouched.
• Fixed On Spotlight the labels under the countdown sat inside the light and measured 4.4:1 — and the light rests in the middle of the page for everybody reading without a pointer, which is every phone. The white half of the light is now half as strong: the same light, and labels that read.
• Fixed Hovering a social link on Gradient turned it purple on purple. It now uses the same worked-out colour as the rest of the small type.
• Fixed On Terminal the blinking cursor dropped onto a line of its own whenever the headline filled the width, leaving a hole under the words. It now rides on the last word.
• Improved The sign-up form has a width of its own instead of stretching to the width of the words — on Poster it was 900 pixels of email field — and its label and small print now follow the design's own alignment instead of always starting at the left.
• Improved The password link lines up under the panel above it rather than under a measure of its own, spacing through the page is on one rhythm, the labels under the countdown are the same size as the rest of the small type, and each design's corners agree with each other: Frame and Terminal are square throughout rather than square around rounded fields.
• Improved Gradient's wash sits over a slight darkening, so choosing a brighter accent still leaves the words readable. With a pale accent, set the Text colour as well.
• Improved The Alignment setting no longer appears for Ledger, Rail and Corner. All three hang their words off the start margin, which is what each of them is, so the field was offering a choice the page ignored — the same reason Split and Notice have never had it.

• Fixed On a phone, the "Have a password?" link lay over the sign-up form. It was pinned to the bottom of the first screen, so on any page taller than that it sat across the email field and the Keep me posted button, and a tap on either did nothing. The link now sits at the foot of the page, under everything else.
• Fixed On a right-to-left site (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Urdu) phones showed a blank page and computers a huge sideways scrollbar. The page now fits the screen, and labels, left-aligned designs and Split's picture follow the language's direction. The Marquee band runs the other way instead of emptying.
• Fixed The Glass design never showed your picture, and Split lost its picture on phones. Glass now draws it behind the frosted panel, with Overlay darkness to keep the words readable, and Split shows it as a band above the words on small screens.
• Fixed The message after somebody signs up, and the keyboard focus ring, were drawn in the raw accent colour, which was hard or impossible to read on Gradient, Aurora, Blueprint, Marquee and Glass. Both now use your accent only where it can be read against what is really behind it.
• Fixed Switching the mode off while WooCommerce's own Site visibility was still "Coming soon" emailed everyone that the site was open while the shop stayed hidden. The Dashboard now says when WooCommerce is hiding the store, with a button to set it live, and the launch email waits until it is.
• Fixed Switching off with the launch email turned off told nobody and said nothing. The Dashboard now asks first when people are waiting to hear, and afterwards says how many were not emailed.
• Fixed People and Sign-up rate counted search robots, link previews and uptime monitors as new visitors, so a site checked every minute showed a tiny sign-up rate. Robots are no longer counted, and the suggested privacy policy text now mentions the one-day counting cookie.
• Improved The Terminal cursor blinks a few times and stops, Aurora's lights drift out and back once, and the Marquee band has a pause button (without the page's script, the band stands still). Screen readers now read the Terminal headline without the "$" in front.
• Improved Switching the mode on also empties WP Fastest Cache, SiteGround Speed Optimizer, Breeze, WP-Optimize and Cloudflare, so pages stored before the switch stop being served.
• Improved The Dashboard's chart can be read with a screen reader day by day, and the role boxes, the mode choice and the designs are announced as named groups.
• Improved Admin screens are easier to read: faint help text and switched-off toggles now meet WCAG AA contrast.
• Improved On a phone, the buttons at the top of each screen wrap under the title instead of pushing the screen sideways.
• New Preview the page at the top of the Dashboard and in the toolbar shows exactly what visitors get. Signed in, you are always let through, so View the site shows you your normal site.
• New Access → IP addresses that can see the site. Let a whole office, a client's network or an uptime monitor see the site on every device, with no link or password to forward. Your own address is shown under the box.
• New The page's words can be translated with WPML or Polylang: the headline, message, small print, sign-up form, password link and search title and description. Each visitor sees the page in their own language.
• Improved Checkboxes show a clear focus ring when you reach them with the keyboard, and the tick in a ticked box draws correctly on phones.
• Improved A page rule that names a particular page or category now also applies to its translations under WPML or Polylang, and each group of ticks in the page rules is announced by name to screen readers.

• Improved A switch-on time waiting for the mode can no longer be missed. "Switch on at" still only takes effect once the mode is enabled, but with the mode off the Dashboard now says, just under the status, that your page is set to go up at that time once the mode is enabled, with an Enable button beside it that schedules it. The Settings screen says the same beside the field. If the time goes by with the mode still off, both screens say that it passed and nothing happened. A switch-on time that has already gone by is now cleared when the mode is switched off, by you or at the switch-off time, so one that did its job is never reported as missed. One left from before this update, which may already have put your page up, is kept in its field and only said to have passed.
• Fixed On a multisite network, activating the plugin for the whole network gave every site the first site's settings while it set them up, so sites could end up without a preview link of their own.

• Fixed Saving your Mailchimp details switched the launch email off. The two forms on the Subscribers screen shared one save, so pressing Save in the Mailchimp panel quietly unticked "Email subscribers when your site goes live", and nobody heard about the launch. Each panel now saves only its own settings and says which one it saved. If you saved Mailchimp details recently, check that the launch email is still switched on.
• Fixed Switching the mode off by hand never sent the launch email. Only a scheduled switch-off time did, although the setting and the help said otherwise. With the launch email on, pressing Disable on the Dashboard while your page is up now emails everyone waiting, after asking you to confirm. Switching off a mode that was still waiting for its switch-on time emails nobody, because nothing opened.
• Fixed A page cache could show your unlaunched site to everyone. A page seen through the preview link or the password could be stored by a page cache and served to every visitor, and pages cached before you switched the mode on went on being served after it. Those pages are now marked not to be stored, and switching the mode on or off, a switch-on time arriving, or changing which pages it covers empties NimbleCache, WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache and LiteSpeed Cache.
• Fixed When your site could not send email, the whole list was marked "Emailed" and nobody got anything. Sending now stops at the first message your site cannot send, nobody is marked as emailed who was not, and the Subscribers screen says what happened and what the mail system reported. Fix the delivery, then press Send to carry on.
• Fixed In coming soon mode your WooCommerce products could still be listed through the Store API, while the same products were refused at /wp-json/wp/v2/. While the page covers the whole site, product lists, categories, brands and reviews are now refused to visitors who are not signed in or holding the preview link. The cart and the checkout keep working, and so do product blocks on any part of the site you have left open. Both this and the /wp-json/wp/v2/ check now also catch an address written in capitals, which WordPress answers just the same.
• Fixed Sign-ups no longer wait on Mailchimp. The address was handed over while the visitor watched "Sending…" — up to eight seconds whenever Mailchimp was slow. It now goes in the background. A hand-off that fails is shown in the Mailchimp panel instead of disappearing, and somebody who unsubscribed and signs up again is passed on to Mailchimp too.
• Fixed "Switch on at" said the mode switches itself on, but the time only counts once the mode is enabled. The hint now says so, and with the mode off the Dashboard names the time and the button it is waiting for.
• Fixed Page rules: an excluded URL such as /contact/ now matches on a site installed in a subfolder or on a subdirectory multisite site; "Shop and product pages" now also covers brand and attribute archives; and a rule about the shop, cart or checkout is no longer turned into "Everywhere" while WooCommerce is switched off.
• New Your subscriber list works with WordPress's privacy tools. Tools → Export Personal Data and Erase Personal Data now include the sign-up for that address, and Settings → Privacy offers a paragraph about the list for your privacy policy.
• New The launch email has a sender name and a reply-to address of its own. Left empty, it comes from the sender name your email plugin sets, if it sets one, and otherwise from your site title rather than "WordPress"; replies go to your administration email address. Every message also carries an unsubscribe header, so mail clients such as Gmail show their own unsubscribe button.
• Fixed Activating the plugin from an older WP-CLI or a site-management tool could stop with a fatal error.

• Fixed Behind Cloudflare, or a proxy on the server such as nginx in front of Apache, every visitor looked like the same visitor. The limit of ten sign-ups an hour applied to the whole site, and a few wrong guesses at the preview password locked everybody out. Both limits now count each real visitor. The "real visitor" headers are believed only when the request truly came through Cloudflare or the site's own proxy, so nobody can fake their way past a limit by sending them.

• Improved When more than one Traslatability plugin is waiting for its licence key, the admin shows one notice naming them all, each name linking to its own licence screen, instead of a separate notice per plugin at the top of every admin page. "Remind me later" quietens all of them for a week. An expired or revoked licence still gets a notice of its own.
• Fixed "Delete all data on uninstall" now also removes the licence key and the update records, which were left behind in the database.
• Fixed In the search-as-you-type picker, screen readers now hear "1 result" rather than "1 results".

• Fixed The Dashboard button could not switch the mode on after a scheduled end time had passed — and said it had. A switch-off time that has gone by keeps the site open whatever the switch says, and it was never cleared. So once a schedule had finished, "Enable" set the switch, showed "Switched on. Visitors now see your page." — and every visitor went on seeing the live site. Switching on now clears a finished end time, the scheduled switch-off clears the time it acted on, and the notice is read back from what visitors actually get.
• Fixed Sign-up times were shown in the wrong hour, and sometimes on the wrong day. The time was stored in your site's own clock and then shifted by your time zone a second time when shown: on a site set to India time a 09:00 sign-up was listed at 14:30, and in New York anything before 04:00 appeared on the previous day. The Dashboard chart had the same fault, so on sites west of London every bar sat one day early.
• Fixed A link in the consent text was removed on save, although the field says a link to your privacy notice is allowed. It is kept now, with the same short list of tags as the footer note.
• Fixed An unlaunched site's posts could be read through the REST API. With coming-soon mode on, anybody could still list every published post, page, image and author at /wp-json/wp/v2/. Those routes now refuse visitors who are not signed in or holding the preview link. Everything else keeps working — the block editor, other plugins' endpoints, and payment webhooks, which a shop must not miss mid-order — and maintenance mode is unchanged, because that content was public yesterday and will be tomorrow.
• Fixed The subscriber export guards against spreadsheet formulas. A name typed into the sign-up form as =HYPERLINK(…) survived every text check and ran as a formula when the export was opened in Excel or LibreOffice.
• Fixed The logo no longer pushes the page down as it loads. It had no size until the file arrived, so on a slow connection the headline, form and countdown jumped down the screen just as somebody went to type.
• Fixed The Dashboard promised an automatic switch-off on a date even with "Switch off automatically" turned off. It now says the countdown ends then and the mode stays on until you switch it off.
• Removed An unused address that let any other website clear a previewer's access. Nothing in the plugin linked to it.
• Improved Alignment is greyed for the Split and Notice designs, which lay their text out themselves; Overlay darkness is greyed until a picture is chosen and for the designs that do not wash it; and "Switch off automatically" is greyed until there is a time to switch off at.
• Improved A setting can now depend on another field simply being filled in — a date typed, a picture chosen — rather than only on it holding one particular value. Several screens in the range needed exactly that and had no way to say it.

• Improved Values arriving from the browser are now unslashed before use, the way WordPress expects. WordPress adds a backslash in front of every quote and apostrophe in a submitted value, and it is up to each plugin to take them off again. In most places here that changed nothing you could see, because the value was being cleaned in a way that discarded them anyway — but it is what WordPress's own plugin checker looks for, and it removes a whole class of quoting bug before it has a chance to appear.

• Fixed A user-role rule went on filtering after the screen stopped showing it. The role ticks on Display Rules appear only once "Signed in" is ticked, and whatever had been chosen before that carried on being applied from a panel nobody could see. A site that had once picked a role and then switched to "Signed out only" ended up with two rules cancelling each other out, one of them invisible, and nothing on the screen to explain why nobody was seeing anything. The rule now applies exactly when it is on show.

• Fixed A display rule about something the site no longer has was quietly destroyed. Post types, taxonomies and roles arrive with other plugins and leave with them, and the display rules were checked against whatever happened to be registered at that moment — on every save of every screen. Switch WooCommerce off, change a colour on an unrelated screen, save, and the rule about products was gone. Turning WooCommerce back on did not bring it back, and nothing had said a word. Such a rule is now kept, and shown on the Display Rules screen marked "(not available)" so it can be seen and unticked rather than sitting in the database where nobody can reach it.

• Fixed An image chosen for a setting and then deleted from the Media Library left its number sitting in the field. The picker correctly said "No image selected" while saving the screen wrote the dead number straight back, so the setting could never be cleared by saving.
• Improved Settings that depend on two answers at once now stay greyed out until both are met. Where one greyed group sits inside another, the inner one used to switch its own fields back on whenever its own condition was satisfied, whatever the group around it had decided. No screen in this plugin is arranged that way today; the safeguard is in place before one is.

• Improved The WooCommerce page in the display rules is called "Cart", matching WooCommerce itself. It read "Basket" before.

• Improved The plugin now says what it actually does. The button reads Enable coming soon mode or Enable maintenance mode rather than "Close the site", the status line reads "Coming soon mode is on", and the schedule fields read "Switch on at" and "Switch off at". Every screen has been reworded to WordPress conventions: "Where It Applies" replaces "Closed Pages", "Apply to" and "Exclude" replace "Close these pages" and "But leave these open", and the design descriptions describe the design instead of selling it.
• Improved Spanish and French translations updated to match.

• Fixed In the section bar's two-row layout, the first section now lines up with the plugin icon above it, and the sections fill the height of their row instead of sitting against the top edge.

• Fixed The section bar no longer breaks onto a second line when a plugin has several sections. It is two tiers by default — the plugin name and the Documentation button on top, the sections on a full-width row beneath — and collapses to one row where everything fits.

• Improved Field labels are shorter and every save button reads "Save changes", matching WordPress itself.

• Improved Every screen has been reworded to WordPress conventions. Section names, field labels and help text are shorter and say plainly what they do, and a save now answers "Settings saved." rather than describing what was saved. Nothing about how the plugin works has changed.

• Fixed The changelog inside the plugin listed only a handful of the releases there have been. It is generated from the same source as the one on the website now, so "View details" on the Plugins screen shows every release rather than stopping months ago.
• Improved Every changelog entry says what kind of change it is: new, improved, fixed or removed.

• Fixed Unticking the last box in a group of page rules now clears it.
• Improved A page chosen in one list can no longer also be chosen in the other.

• Fixed A stylesheet a screen sends deliberately switched off is no longer switched on when you move between tabs.

• Fixed The floating Save button comes back after changing tabs. It appeared on a freshly opened screen and never again once you moved between tabs.

• Fixed A site that cannot reach the update server now waits a few minutes before asking again, instead of asking on every admin page load. Nothing changes when the server is reachable; pressing "Check again" still asks at once.

• Fixed On Midnight, Glass and Aurora the sign-up button’s label could not be read against the button — white on a bright accent, as low as 1.81 to 1. The label colour is now measured rather than guessed.
• Fixed On Gradient and Marquee the small heading above the headline was drawn in the accent colour, which those two designs also build their background from — so the two were always close together. It falls back to the ordinary text colour where the accent cannot be read.
• Improved The labels under the countdown are a little stronger, so they read on all fourteen designs rather than thirteen.
• Improved Saving now says what was saved. Every screen answered with the same word — “Saved.” — which tells you the one thing you already knew, that you pressed the button. Each screen names what it kept.
• Improved The confirmation message has no close button and more room at both ends: it leaves on its own after four seconds, and clicking anywhere on it dismisses it.

• Fixed The countdown could become unreadable on Spotlight, Glass, Terminal, Frame, Gradient, Midnight and Aurora. Those seven draw their panels as a tint, which a colour picker cannot hold, so choosing one of them left the Panels box showing the previous design’s colour — and saving it painted the panels in a colour nobody had chosen.
• Fixed The Panels colour and the design’s own transparency are now kept apart, so every design shows its real colour and the page is drawn exactly as before.
• Improved Confirmation and error messages are easier to see: rounder, and coloured by what they are saying — green for saved, red for something rejected, amber for something to look at — each with a mark of its own.
• Improved A licence message now looks like one. Activating a key answered in an unmarked grey box, whatever it said; it carries the right colour and a mark like every other message on the screen.
• Improved A licence key that could not be a key is refused on the spot, without a request to the licence server and without reloading the screen. An empty box used to mean a wait, and on an offline site it meant being told the licence server could not be reached.
• Improved A key pasted out of an email in lower case, or with the dashes lost, is put right rather than reported as wrong.

• Fixed Confirmation messages line up properly and sit on rounder corners: they were top-aligned with the text nudged down two pixels to meet the icon, which on a one-line message read as a misalignment because it was one.

• Improved "Worth doing next" redrawn. Each suggestion carries an icon saying what it is about and an arrow saying it is a way into the screen that fixes it — it was a bordered box with a coloured bar down one side and nothing to suggest it could be clicked at all.
• Fixed The preview bar on the Design screen no longer looks like a status banner. The coloured rule down the left belongs to the banner that reports what state your site is in; this one offers you something to do, and they were drawn the same.

• Improved Confirmations are easier to see. The message after a save is bordered in the colour of what it is telling you, sized to the words rather than stretched to a fixed card, and it now says what was saved rather than just "Saved".
• Improved It stays for four seconds instead of three — long enough to read a sentence — and hovering it holds it open.

• Improved Tab changes are instant. The plugin's other screens are fetched quietly in the background while you read the first one, so by the time you click a tab there is nothing left to wait for — tens of milliseconds instead of a second and a half.
• Improved One at a time, never in parallel, started only once the screen you are on is ready and the browser says it is idle, stopped the moment you navigate, and skipped entirely on a metered connection.

• New An admin that never reloads. Every screen arrives without a page load and every save happens where you are standing — and the screen you are heading for is usually already fetched, because moving a pointer to a menu item takes long enough to fetch it.
• New Saved, and told so where you are looking. A save answers in a small message in the top-right corner that clears itself after a few seconds, instead of reloading the page and putting a notice above the header.
• Improved It is an enhancement, not a dependency: if a fetch fails or scripting is off, links navigate and forms submit exactly as they always did, and the server side is unchanged.

• Improved Notices redesigned: a quiet bordered card at 14px with the tone carried by a tinted icon, rather than a block of colour in coloured type.
• Fixed The colour pickers start as the design you picked and follow it when you choose another, instead of four boxes reading "Select Color".
• Improved The picture panel says what it has to say as one line rather than a card inside a card.
• Fixed Three custom properties that were misspelt in the stylesheet, so the media picker and two other boxes had square corners where every other control is rounded.
• Fixed The page picker's search now works: its handler was never registered, so typing in it failed.

• Improved Every notice this plugin prints now looks the same: a white box with a coloured rule down its edge — orange for something to do, red for something wrong, green for something that worked. WordPress tinted a warning cream and an error pink and gave each one its own border colour, so a few notices in a row read as a few different kinds of box.
• Fixed The message on the licence screen after activating or deactivating a key now stays where it is printed, rather than jumping down the page a second after the screen has loaded.

• Fixed A notice from this plugin no longer jumps after the page has loaded. WordPress lifts any notice out of the page once it is ready and drops it under the page heading, so the screen settled and then everything below moved by the height of a notice — and painted once in WordPress's colours before ours arrived. Ours stay where they are put, styled from the first paint.

• Improved Tooltips are ours rather than the browser's. They appear the moment you hover or focus instead of after a second, they are styled like the rest of the screen, and somebody using a keyboard gets them too. The last one was on the copy button beside a shortcode.

• Improved The link on the countdown note carries an arrow rather than the mark that means "opens in a new window". It goes to another screen of the same plugin, in the same tab.

• Fixed The countdown note on the Page screen always links to the screen that holds the opening time. It said "counting to 27 August" or "the opening time has already passed" and left you to find out for yourself where that date is kept.

• New Six more designs, and these ones move. Aurora drifts soft lights behind the words, Glass frosts a panel over your photograph, Spotlight follows the pointer across the dark, Blueprint is drafting paper with a glow, Terminal is monospace with a cursor still blinking, and Marquee runs your headline across the top in a band. Fourteen in all, and every bit of that motion stops for a reader whose system asks for less.
• Improved The live preview opens in a tab of its own. It was an iframe at the top of The page and Design, and an honest preview of a full-screen page took the whole screen — which left the fields it was meant to help with pushed below the fold. One button now, and it still carries what is on screen including anything unsaved.
• Improved The dashboard chart says what it is showing: dates along the bottom, the peak at the top, and every bar reachable by keyboard.
• Improved Tooltips are ours, not the browser's. They appear the moment you hover or focus rather than after a second, they are styled like the rest of the screen, and a keyboard gets them too. Nothing in the plugin uses title= any more.
• Improved The menu entry says "Coming Soon", which fits on one line in the sidebar instead of three.

• Fixed The Subscribers screen drew two floating Save buttons and only one of them could ever appear, because a screen shows one at a time. The short Mailchimp form keeps its Save button where it is.

• Fixed The Subscribers card on the dashboard printed the size of your list under the caption "waiting to hear from you", which is a different number — the ones not yet written to. It says "on your list" now; the other number is on the Subscribers screen where it belongs.

• New Close your site behind a page worth landing on. Two modes that behave differently where it matters: coming soon answers normally so the address can be shared and indexed, maintenance answers 503 with a Retry-After worked out from your own opening time so an afternoon of work does not cost you rankings.
• New Eight designs — Plain, Card, Split, Gradient, Midnight, Poster, Notice and Frame — with four colours you can override on any of them. No page builder, no template files.
• New A countdown to the moment you open, drawn with the right numbers already in it so it reads correctly before any script runs, and measured against your server's clock so a device that is an hour fast still counts down correctly.
