What it does for your business

Why sites run Countdown Timer

People buy sooner

A deadline someone can see does more than a discount they have to work out. Put one on the products that are actually reduced, across the shop for the sale itself, or on the basket while they are deciding.

It cannot contradict your prices

A sale campaign reads WooCommerce's own sale end dates, per product, so the clock and the price come from the same place. No second date to keep in step, and nothing left counting down after a sale is over.

Nobody catches you out

Timers run on your site's clock, not the visitor's. A per-visitor countdown remembers when they first saw it, so coming back tomorrow does not hand them a fresh hour — and the basket hold never empties a basket.

Features

Urgency that is true, which is the only kind that works twice

Three kinds of countdown

A date and time, for a launch or a sale that ends for everyone at once. A product's own sale end, read from WooCommerce. Or a length of time per visitor, starting when they first see it.

Reads your real sale dates

A sale campaign takes its end from the product's own "sale price dates", including each variation's, so the timer and the price can never disagree. Nothing to type twice and nothing left running after the sale.

Four places, no template editing

On a product page, under the price. On shop and category listings. As a bar across the top of the site. Above post and page content. Plus a shortcode for anywhere else.

Only the products you mean

Every product, a category, a tag, or particular products — all chosen by name, never by ID — and an exclude list that always wins. A parent category covers everything inside it.

And only the pages you mean

Tick the places, kinds of content and archives a campaign belongs on, then name the exceptions. A sale bar everywhere except the checkout takes one entry.

And only the people you mean

A campaign can be limited to desktop, tablet or mobile — decided by the width of the window, so it survives page caching — to signed-in or signed-out visitors, or to particular roles from your own site's list.

A deadline you can stand behind

Count to a date, to each product's own sale end so the timer and the price can never disagree, or to a length of time that starts when a visitor first sees it.

Eight designs, drawn as they will be

Blocks, plain numbers, outlines, a pill, a departure-board readout, draining rings, flip tiles and a full-width ribbon — each in your colours and your theme's type.

One sale, everywhere it matters

A ribbon across the top of the shop, a timer under every reduced product, and a basket held while they decide — without ever emptying it.

What is counting down right now

Which campaigns are live, which ends next, and the clock every one of them counts against — because a countdown that is an hour out is the one mistake worth catching.

Licensing

How your licence works

How do I install it?

After checkout you get a licence key and a download link straight away, plus an email copy. Upload the ZIP under Plugins → Add New, activate it, and paste your key into the plugin settings.

How do updates work?

Once your key is entered, new versions appear on your Plugins screen and install with one click, exactly like a plugin from the WordPress directory.

What happens when my licence expires?

The plugin keeps working. You only lose access to new updates and support until you renew.

Do staging sites use an activation?

No. Local installs, .test and .local domains, and staging or dev subdomains are free and unlimited.
