Getting started

Install, activate, and enter your licence key under Cookie Consent → Licence.

Then, in this order:

1. Read your own site. Cookie Consent → What is held back → Read my site again. It fetches your pages as a visitor sees them (the home page, the posts page, the latest post and, on a shop, the shop page, the newest product, the cart and the checkout) and lists the third parties actually on them. Most people find at least one they had forgotten about.
2. Check the list. Anything found with Held back: No is running before anybody agrees. Switch it on. The list and the Dashboard follow the switches as soon as you save them, without reading the site again.
3. Point the banner at your privacy policy. The banner → Link to your privacy policy.

That is the set-up. The defaults are the strict ones, so a site that does nothing else is already holding the usual tags back.
