Getting started

Install the plugin, activate it, and enter your licence key under Redirects → Licence. Updates then arrive on the Plugins screen like any other plugin.

There is nothing else to set up. From the moment it is active:

• renaming a published page, or a category, keeps its old address working,
• changing your permalink structure, or a category, tag or product base, keeps the old post, category and product addresses working (see Changing your permalinks for a site that had the plugin before this), and
• every address somebody asks for and does not find is written down.

All three are on by default and each can be switched off under Settings.
