Answer

Does it work with my caching plugin?

Updated Cookie Consent 1.6.0Tested with WordPress 7.1

Yes, without configuration. The page that leaves the server is the same for everybody — everything held back — and the visitor's own browser puts back what they agreed to. That is why it is built that way.

It also empties your cache when you activate it, when you change what is held back, and when you deactivate it. That matters more than it sounds: a page cached before you installed this still has the tracking tags live in it, and a cache would go on serving it for days with the banner sitting on top changing nothing.

Still stuck? Ask the developers who wrote it. We aim to reply within one business day.
