Answer

I send through Microsoft 365. Will my email stop?

Updated Email Delivery 1.7.0Tested with WordPress 7.1

It may, if the site signs in with a password. Microsoft's announcement says that kind of sign-in is switched off by default for existing Microsoft 365 organisations at the end of December 2026, and is not available by default in organisations created after that. Microsoft says an organisation's administrator will still be able to switch it back on if needed, and that it will announce a date for removing it for good in the second half of 2027.

While your site signs in to Microsoft 365 with a password, Email Delivery's Dashboard says so, with a link to the announcement. To keep email going, choose another mail service under Settings → How email leaves, or add a Backup connection through a different service, which is tried at once whenever Microsoft refuses a message. With the daily sign-in check switched on, it also tells you at its next check after Microsoft starts refusing. Email Delivery does not sign in to Microsoft 365 the newer way (OAuth).
