Email Delivery's From Domain panel finds the usual cause of WordPress email landing in spam: missing or faulty SPF, DKIM or DMARC records on the domain of your From address.
Those are DNS records that tell receiving servers who may send for your domain, and a message the mail service accepted can still be filed as spam when they fail. Open Email Delivery → Dashboard → From Domain (it is also under the result on Send a test). Each row says what was looked up, what came back and the one thing to do, such as:
- add the include your mail service asks for to your SPF record;
- merge two SPF records into one;
- correct or remove an include that leads nowhere, or back to the record itself;
- remove a part receiving servers cannot read, such as a
+or a dot on its own, exactly as the row quotes it; - turn on DKIM signing in your mail service;
- add a DMARC record starting with
v=DMARC1; p=none.
When the fault is in your mail service's own records, the row says to ask the service instead. Press Check again after changing your DNS; changes can take a while to show. With SendGrid, Postmark, Brevo, SMTP2GO or Amazon SES, an SPF row that says Not needed is fine.
If your From address is a gmail.com, outlook.com or yahoo.com address and the site sends through another service, use an address on your own domain instead. Those mailbox providers judge such mail by their own rules and often file it as spam, and you cannot change their records.
The panel does not look at the message itself (its wording, links or attachments), which receiving servers also weigh, so a panel full of Found is not a promise that every message reaches the inbox.
