Getting started

Install and activate the plugin, then open Shipping Bar → Setup and switch on Enable the free shipping bar. That is usually the whole setup.

The bar needs one thing to work: somewhere for shoppers to get to. If your shop already offers free shipping over an amount — a Free shipping method with a minimum order amount under WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping — the bar reads that amount automatically and starts counting towards it.

The Dashboard tells you which state your shop is in and what, if anything, is still needed.

Its Turn the bar on and Turn the bar off do what they say, even on a Dashboard that has been open for a while. If the bar was already switched that way in the meantime (on the Setup screen, in another tab or by another administrator), the button changes nothing and tells you so.
