Placing the bar
Under Placement the bar sits at the top or the bottom, and either pushes the page down or floats over it.
There are three arrangements:
- Push the page down, and scroll away with it — the bar sits in the page, so it never covers your header, and moves up out of the way as the shopper reads.
- Push the page down, then follow the screen — the same, except it sticks to the top once it would have scrolled away.
- Float over the page, always in view — pinned to the viewport from the start.
Three of the templates — Edge line, Floating pill and Card — always float, because that is what they are.
When you are signed in to WordPress, the bar allows for the admin bar so the two never overlap. Your shoppers do not see the admin bar at all.
On the Display screen you can also add in-page reminders at the moments a shopper is deciding whether to add one more thing: on the basket page, on the checkout, under the add-to-basket button, and inside the basket dropdown.
