Devices and audience

Free Shipping Bar can be shown to some visitors only: by screen size, by whether they are signed in, and by user role. All three are under Display → Where it shows → Audience, and they apply to the floating bar, the in-page reminders and the shortcode alike.

• Devices: desktop (a window 1025 pixels wide or more), tablet (600 to 1024) or mobile (under 600). Leave all three clear for every size. The width of the window decides, not a guess from the browser, so a narrow desktop window counts as narrow and a cached page stays right for everybody.
• Login status: signed in or signed out. Tick Signed in and User roles appears, listing your own site's roles, to narrow it further.

Two examples:

1. Phones only. Tick Mobile and leave Desktop and Tablet clear.
2. Guests only. Tick Signed out. Signed-in customers, and you while you test as an administrator, no longer see the bar.

When, on the same screen, adds dates, days of the week and hours for a bar that should only run for a while.
