Updated Social Share Buttons 1.12.1Tested with WordPress 7.1

In the block editor, add the Share Buttons block wherever you want the buttons. Its sidebar has the networks as ticks — leave them all unticked to use the ones chosen on the Networks screen — and the style, size, names and alignment, each of which can stay "As in the plugin settings". The block shows the real buttons while you edit.

Anywhere in a post or page, including the classic editor:

[trasl_share]
[trasl_share networks="x facebook copy" template="outline" size="large" align="center"]

Every attribute is optional and overrides the settings for that one spot.

networks takes these names, separated by spaces or commas: x, facebook, whatsapp, linkedin, pinterest, reddit, telegram, bluesky, threads, mastodon, tumblr, email, copy (Copy link), print and native (More), and for the AI assistants chatgpt, claude, perplexity, google_ai (Google AI Mode) and grok, which are drawn in the same row as the rest. Without networks, the spot shows the Networks screen's buttons and the AI assistants chosen there. twitter is read as x. A name it does not know is left out, and if none of the names is one it knows, the networks chosen on the Networks screen are used instead. An editor viewing the page sees a note naming anything that was left out, just above the buttons.

A quotable line, a pull quote a reader can post in one click: in the block editor, add the Click-to-Share Quote block and type the line straight into it. It looks in the editor as it will on the page. Its sidebar takes an X username (empty uses the one on the Networks screen) and a link (empty shares the post). Anywhere else:

[trasl_quote]The one sentence worth repeating.[/trasl_quote]

In a theme template:

PHP
<?php if ( function_exists( 'trss_share_buttons' ) ) { trss_share_buttons(); } ?>

It takes the shortcode's options as an array — trss_share_buttons( [ 'networks' => 'x facebook copy', 'size' => 'large' ] ) — and brings the buttons' styles and script with it, so it works on any page, whether or not the automatic placements reach it. The function_exists() check keeps your theme working if the plugin is ever deactivated.

Placed by hand, the buttons share the post they sit in; outside a post, the page they are on.
