The buttons are not showing
Work down this list:
- Display — is the switch at the top on, is at least one spot ticked, and is the content type of the page you are looking at ticked?
- Is the post excluded? Check But never on these on the Display screen, and Hide the buttons here in the post's sidebar, and Never on these posts on the placement screen.
- Is a caching plugin serving an older copy of the page? Clear its cache.
- If you are on the front page or an archive, those are off by default.
The dashboard names the problem when it is one of these.
