The look of the front page
Six looks, under Settings → Front page. Every one uses your theme's own type and the same colours, so changing look never changes a colour: it changes where things sit and what their edges do.
- Cards — a band behind the search and a grid of bordered topic cards, each listing its first articles. The default, and what every site had before there was a choice.
- Tiles — centred tiles with a bigger topic icon and the article count, and no list under them. For a help centre with many topics.
- List — one column of rows with hairlines between them, the articles side by side under each topic. Suits a narrow page or a sidebar layout.
- Minimal — no boxes anywhere: an underlined search field, topics as headed lists, questions divided by hairlines. For a site whose theme is already quiet.
- Spotlight — the search on a band in your accent colour, cards with soft shadows instead of borders. The band carries no words of its own, so it reads whatever your accent is.
- Boxed — everything inside one square-cornered frame, topics as cells of a grid, small-caps headings. Reads like documentation.
The look applies to the page holding [trasl_help_centre]. An article, a topic page and the contact form are your theme's pages with our parts on them, and they are drawn the same whichever look you pick. Topic cards per row is ignored by List, which is always one column.
