Seeing what your markup produces
The schema editor has two preview panels, and both update as you type — you do not need to save to see the effect of a change.
How this could look in Google turns your markup into a mock search result: star ratings, prices, cook times, FAQ rows that expand. It is an illustration rather than a promise, since Google decides per search whether to show any enhancement, but it answers the question a block of JSON does not — what does this actually get me?
If a type produces no visible enhancement on its own, the panel says so. Those types still help search engines understand the page.
Output preview shows the JSON-LD itself, exactly as it will appear in the page head.
Both previews use a real post from your site where one exists, so automatic fields show real values rather than placeholders.
