Answer

How do I translate the heading with WPML or Polylang?

Updated Social Share Buttons 1.12.1Tested with WordPress 7.1

Type your heading, copy confirmation and X username on the Networks screen, then translate them in WPML → String Translation or in Polylang's Languages → Translations. The plugin registers those three fields with both, and the Follow screen's heading too, and shows each reader the version in their language. Left empty, the heading and the confirmation use the plugin's own wording, which is already translated.

Hide share buttons on this post follows translations: a translation with no setting of its own uses the original's.

A blog post about layering for autumn. A grey pull quote reads: Dress for the walk home, not for the walk in, with a Post this link marked with the X logo. Under the last paragraph, a Share this heading sits above X, Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Email and Copy link buttons in each network's colour. A column of the same six icons runs down the left edge of the screen.
