The message after saving says why, and the address stays in the list, marked, so you can correct it and save again. An address has to start with https:// and be on that network's own site: a Facebook profile on facebook.com, not a link shortener or another site. A WhatsApp profile has to be a channel (whatsapp.com/channel/). Mastodon and RSS take any https:// address. The list holds twenty profiles. An address copied from the browser with an accented letter in it (%C3%A9 and the like) is kept exactly as you pasted it.
