End the old address with a star.
/blog/ → /news/ sends /blog/hello to /news/hello and /blog/2019/june to /news/2019/june.
Leave the star off the destination — /blog/* → /news/ — and every page under the old section lands on that one page instead.
A star only ever cuts at a slash, so /blog/* never catches /blogging-tips.
