The timer is an hour out
It is not, but your site's time zone might be. Every countdown is worked out against the zone under Settings → General, which the dashboard shows you. A site left on UTC while the shop trades in London runs an hour out in summer, and everything on the site does, not only this.
The visitor's own clock never comes into it: the browser is sent the number of seconds remaining, not a time of day.
