Answer

My one-off countdown shows nothing, or counts to the wrong day

Updated Countdown Timer 1.12.0Tested with WordPress 7.1

Write the ends date year first: [trasl_countdown ends="2030-12-24 17:00"]. A date with slashes such as 05/12/2030 is 5 December in some countries and 12 May in others, so it is not drawn. That includes a date written the American way on purpose: 11/05/2026 for 5 November was drawn by earlier versions and is now hidden, so write it as 2026-11-05. A date the shortcode cannot read draws nothing too, and so does one that has passed, unless its after keeps the timer at zero or shows a message. In each case anyone who can edit posts sees a note in the countdown's place saying which it is. Visitors see nothing there.
