I do not know what a CSS selector is

Updated Dark Mode 1.8.0Tested with WordPress 7.1

You do not need to. Signed in as an administrator, open the page that looks wrong and choose Fix dark mode here in the black toolbar. Click the part: the panel shows the selector it made for you and how many things on the page it matches. Choose Keep its own colours, Invert it, or for a picture Use a dark version. The line is added to the matching box on Images and Elements, where you can see it, and Undo takes it off again.

It passes over names that look made up by a page builder or a block, since those tend to change, so a line it writes usually keeps working. It cannot promise that: if a theme or page builder update renames the part, fix it again. If nothing about a part is stable it uses a short path of tags instead; check the count before saving.
